One of the most anticipated fights of the day August 1 in  Rebel Battle Royale  will be the fight between former UFC fighter Will Chope against Brazilian Mauricio Faction, the U.S. this week gave us an exclusive interview where he talks about his opponent and a little its history since the expulsion of the UFC, as almost stopped fighting Mma and resumes to the world of fighting.

You have one of the best fight stats among the fighters in the tournament, but you has been defeated twice in your last fights. What is your focus now? Did you went through a physical and psychological restructuration after you leave the UFC ?

I lost my UFC debut to a very tough opponent Max Holloway and my last fight vs YiSak Kim I came unprepared as I was traveling so much before that fight trying to put my life back together after being kicked out of the UFC. I almost left MMA after being kicked out of the UFC. Again in my life I almost went to go join the French Foreign Legion. But I put everything aside now and I know MMA is my life and it don’t matter where I fight for or who I fight for, I will always keep fighting. So my focus is back and a new Will Chope has emerged from all of this. I am at an awesome gym now called Juggernaut Fight Club. I been training hard and I plan to beat Faccao and win this tournament.

Being the tallest fighter in the tournament, do you believe that your reach can help you to be the champion?

Being taller than everyone is definitely my biggest advantage as a fighter and again I will use my height and reach to win.

Once you defeat Mauricio Facção you’re quite possibly going to face the winner of Ashida vs Torres .. this possible fight could be considered an anticipated final considering the experience of you all ?

Definitely plan on beating Faccao, and I know the 2nd fight will be much tougher. Ashida and Torres are some of the best fighters in the world right now. But this tournament is stange. First we fight in the quarter finals. Then on the next event. We will have 2 fights in one night. So anything can happen. I just will make sure to bring my best.

How do you think will be your fight against the Brazilian fighter, Mauricio facção? you already have a strategy drawn into the fight?

Faccao has been talking a lot of trash about me leading up to this fight. I am sick of it. He is a nobody fighter!! But it is okay I will make him famous on my Highlight Reel when I Knock him out.

Your opponent is talking a lot here in Brazil and has told us he will bring his head to Brazil, besides doing many teasers on social networks, what do you think so many teasers before combat of him?

I think he is scared that is why he talks so much before a fight.

How do you want to end the contest, with the majority of his wins are by submission (63%) think will win the standup or on the ground?

I want to take his neck, most of his wins are by chokes and most of my wins are by chokes, so lets see who chokes who on August 1st.
